On Wednesday 10th August 2022, my youngest son and I spent a wonderful afternoon at one of our favourite swimming spots. It was unusual to have the Urchin Pool to ourselves because ever since the lockdown more and more people have discovered it and on our previous visit it was too crowded for comfort. The best way to discover the location is like most people do; they discover it while out for a walk along the cliffs and they see people swimming in it. This is exactly what happened while my son and I were down there; an aunty, a mammy and her three children were out for a walk when they spotted us from the cliff edge and decided to come down get a closer look.
