Commentator Daisy Cousins says far left-wing activists Antifa has shown its “lack of empathy” after video shows some of its members aggressively harassed an elderly couple who were attending an event in Ontario in Canada.

This was actually in Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. Where Maxime Bernier (a very conservative man who loves freedom) was doing an event at Mohawk College with Dave Rubin. The topic… …free speech.

Yes, fascist antifa are shutting down an event about free speech, and calling everyone else Nazis… go figure.

Mick Barry, Solidarity/PBP TD for Cork North Central, told Katie Hannon on RTÉ’s Late debate that he believed that the “intervention by the extreme right” in Oughterard was “probably the most successful intervention for the extreme-right in any community in this country so far.”

According to Newstalk, the Department of Justice has said the withdrawal of the Oughterard bid was “disappointing” and will “exacerbate a very serious situation in terms of a shortage of accommodation for those who come to Ireland seeking accommodation”. They warned Ireland was “perilously close” to a situation where accommodation cannot be offered to asylum seekers.

Fazyard’s Seán Lyons, the Direct Provision operator, has withdrawn his tender to turn the Connemara Gateway hotel into a Direct Provision Centre for asylum seekers. biased RTÉ claimed the abandonment of the asylum plans for the town raise a number of questions “like the manner in which far-right groups infiltrated the campaign”. However, they refused to name any such groups directly.

Bernie told Niall that after the monster meeting last night in the town, government officials did promise they would look at all their concerns but that after watching Prime Time last night “you see Mr Stanton is not for turning and he doesn’t really listen to us as a community or anyone down here and it’s really upsetting.”

Bernie also said there are now rumours in the village that the hotel has been promised to Somalian people and everyone is really scared.
