Patricia shows us a recipe that is perfect as we move into the colder months. Perfect for when you want to share comfort food with the family. It serves 4 people.
She pairs it with Finlandia by Jean Sibelius, the unofficial national anthem of Finland.
 
Ingredients and instructions
500 gms smoked haddock or cod (soaked in cold mater to reduce salt flavour)
800 gms. Potatoes – (I have reduced the 800 gms potatoes to 400 gms and made up the difference with 400 gms carrots)
1 large/medium onion diced
2-4 clove garlic
300 mls whipping cream (I used light cream but if using full cream lessen quantity and make up difference with skimmed – see below)
100 mls semi-skimmed milk (green label container)
15 gms. butter (or substitute)

“THERE IS NO CLIMATE EMERGENCY!” Over 500 Scientists and Climate Professionals Tell UN That Current Climate Models “Are Unfit For Their Purpose”!

A letter that was written to the United Nations by over 500 international Climate Scientists and professionals has been published on the CLintel website. The letter is a plea to the UN to abandon its flawed models on Climate and asks for a meeting to update the UN on more up to date findings and data.

The Scientific Advisory Board (WAR) of the CLINTEL Foundation consists of eminent scientists from disciplines that are relevant to climate science. The members of the WAR are consulted prior to the publication of CLINTEL reports and scientific articles.

The letter dated 23 September 2019 was sent by Professor Guus Berkhout from The Hague and reads as follows:

Patricia shows us a quick, easy, and delicious lemon chicken recipe that will have your friends thinking you’ve been slaving away in the kitchen for hours.
 
LEMON CHICKEN ONE POT RECIPE INGREDIENTS
 
Very simple
 
600 g skinless boneless chicken thigh fillet (I use with skin on, bone in).
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 Knorr Chicken Stock Pot dissolved in 250 ml boiling water
1 teaspoon dried oregano or dried thyme
1 lemon, sliced
80 ml reduced-fat crème fraîche
1 teaspoon runny honey
 
METHOD 1. Heat some oil in a saucepan and fry chicken until lightly browned. Add garlic and fry 1 minute.
2. Add the stock, herbs and lemon. Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
3. Remove chicken and whisk in crème

The Southern Oceans are getting greener and cooler as the amount of marine plants (phytoplankton) has been increasing in the last 21 years. These changes appear to be happening faster during the winter, which suggests that the growing season is getting longer. This is important because the Southern Ocean has a big role in the biology and chemistry of the oceans, and in regulating the Earth’s climate. This work was done using 21 years of data from two NASA satellites, coinciding with Al Gore’s now infamous predictions of doom and gloom from global warming.
