High Court Judgement on unborn rights beyond the Right to Life 25-11-2016 – iTV.ie

As explained by Orla O’Donnell, this High Court Judgement follows on Justice Richard Humphries judgement in July when he said unborn rights go beyond Article 40 3 3 (the 8th Amendment) and are also vindicated by Article 42A (as passed in the Children’s Referendum in 2012). The State recognises they are children as those after birth. This is consistent with the UN Convention of 1959 on the Rights of the Child which pledges to protect children BEFORE as well as AFTER birth.

The recent judgment of Mr Justice Richard Humphreys on the rights of unborn children, in IRM v Minister for Justice and Equality, on July 29th.
It has important implications for the protection of unborn children, not only in the context of abortion (which was not the focus of the case) but more generally. It raises a question as to how the Minister for Children is most effectively to discharge her

However, to put Farage’s new Brexit party into perspective, Gerard Batten recently called the BRexit Party, the Tory Light party, and apart from BRexit it is a lot like the Tories.

So what happens after the EU Elections and when BRexit does finally happen? What do you do with a party called “BRexit Party”? Dissolve it or rename it while you ride into the sunset once again?

#DeliberateNegligence – So far this year some 2,234 new claims for asylum have been made in Ireland, up 36 per cent on the same period last year, which was already a 10 year high. The number of new applications from those alleging persecution is now set for a 15-year high, as the Direct Provision (DP) asylum accommodation system in Ireland bursts at the seams with over 6,000 migrants. Shockingly, more than 80% of these DP resident are failed or fake claimants, which Ireland refuses to deport, even though this would make more than sufficient room and resources for legitimate claimants! Some failed claimants have lived there for a decade, despite having exhausted all their appeals!
